Terms and Conditions
Transparency is the foundation of every successful shipment. We're committed to defining clear parameters for our logistical partnerships, ensuring your cargo—and our fleet—operate under mutual trust and legal clarity.
1. Terms and Conditions of Freight Carriage
By engaging the services of WT Supply Chain Management Corp, you're agreeing to the comprehensive frameworks outlined herein. How else can we ensure the integrity of the supply chain without a shared set of rules? These terms govern all aspects of transportation logistics, from initial dispatch to final delivery.
Our liability is strictly limited as per standard industry freight agreements. We believe in being upfront: while we take every precaution, the inherent risks of trucking require clear boundary lines regarding insurance, damage claims, and environmental delays.
Agreement
Formal binding of shipping terms.
Payment
Net 30 terms standard for brokers.
Liability
Limited carriage responsibility protocols.
Jurisdiction
Resolved under Texas state law.
Section 2.1: Payment & Credit
Unless negotiated otherwise, all invoices are due within thirty (30) days of receipt. Late payments incur a 1.5% monthly surcharge. Don't let unpaid invoices stall our momentum. We reserve the right to withhold freight currently in transit in the event of severe payment delinquency.
Section 3.4: Shipping Liability
WT Supply Chain Management Corp operations are governed by the Carmack Amendment where applicable. Our team works tirelessly, yet force majeure events—extreme weather in the Tomball region or national road closures—may disrupt estimated windows. Are we responsible for weather? No, but we are responsible for keeping you informed.
// HACK: Ensure this liability clause matches the latest 2024 DOT requirements. Note: This document was last updated on October 12, 2023. Continued use of our logistics network constitutes ongoing acceptance of these terms.
